I recently interviewed for L7 EM at Google and had 4 great interviews and one not so great system design. I submitted external referrals all of which gave great feedback. The recruiter said the next step is team match/interviews and then the HC. Anyone in a similar situation? What was the result? Google

I’ve been keto for 2.5 years. You see peak benefits at 6 months and then you won’t want to go back
Totally agree. I was super struck for 15 months of 16:8 and no more the 40 net carbs, for weight loss. Once I got to my weight stable zone. I cycle one higher carb meal, one meal, once a week(120 carbs max). Typically rice with MCT and Indian or Thai. But I can’t cheat with, wheat, rye, potatoes or sweet potatoes without my EoE going crazy. The energy and mental performance daily ketones provide, do sell a reorganization of priorities, but give you the mental and physical energy of like ( your 18 year old self.)
I am at about 18 months. Love it, can’t imagine going back. Occasional cravings but have been pretty good. The last 6 months have been more low carb, moderate fat just because of the client I am currently at and the food options. When I am in a bigger city, I make sure to get a hotel near a Whole Foods and just stock my hotel room with healthy fats. Worst case, a bag of pork rinds and a thing of fresh guacamole is dinner (admittedly not the healthiest, but better than fried chicken wings which is the other pseudo keto option)
Weight has leveled off at about 180 which is about 14% body fat for me.... don’t even need to think about “how to keep it off"
Agreed, Epic and Quest are about as processed brands I like to get. My daily limited carb is usually a bit of Kafir, veg and sometimes, cup of blueberries.
Keto is my normal diet. (Over 1 year; no plans to stop.)
At 4-8 weeks you’re just becoming fat adapted.
What are your goals? Perhaps a lchf diet would work better for you than keto
What kind of peak benefits?
It takes your body months to become fully fat adapted. Once that happens though your stamina goes through the roof and the mental clarity is like being on adderall but natural and cleaner
And are you strict keto?
