Even if you are not an aspiring LinkedInfluencer, having a nicely developed profile and work experience and summary helps. If a recruiter or hiring manager can find you on LinkedIn, they can easily see if you are likely to be a real person. Fake candidates typically have a very sparse LinkedIn profile and only a few connections. Real candidates usually have many more connections. More importantly, if you have strong written LinkedIn recommendations from former colleagues, those will help you standout from candidates who do not have any.
