I think that is a very valid reason - the vibes of the team often matters way more than some quantifiable metrics in the long run when it comes to your overall wellbeing.
We just had a new hire that quit one month in because the vibes were wrong for this person, and you bet everyone from their project team all the way up to practice leadership were very upset because of all the time and money invested in hiring and onboarding this person. If you can already tell the vibes are not good, it’s better to bail now than after you start working🤷🏻♂️
