What are peoples opinions on work from home? It seems to be an unpopular opinion but as a junior I despise it. I work 3 feet from my bed, I find the barriers of a phone/email between me and a senior to add a huge amount of stress to my life and I think it’s stunting my career development at my firm because I can’t build relationships as effectively. I’ve never at all had mental health issues before but now am really starting to feel burnt out and anxious most of the time. What do you think?

Is genetic carrier screening prior to starting an ivf cycle necessary? I tested and found some disorders. Now my RE won’t start my cycle until my partner is tested. They are saying they will have to do special PGT tests if we are carriers of the same disorder. I am confused. I thought this type of testing was optional and usually recommended if you are using a donor. My guess is that they are booked and pushing me to the Jan cycle. Thoughts?

Our firm told everyone no bonuses this year due to the pandemic. However, people like myself with high utilization received a “bonus” in terms of a gift card. My director notified me of this, but the other day my boss was mentioning how no bonuses this year really sucks. However, tech consulting is definitely not my dream job. I want to get into data analytics, and I have an offer from a big company to do just that. I’ve only been at my current company for about 8 months, but I don’t ever see myself loving this job. How do I know when it’s time to make a change?
