Cisco interviewed me for 3 months for a couple of roles and then offered me comp that is considerably less than my current comp for a product manager role!! They also said its cisco policy to not offer rsu for mcol cities. Rsu is apparently only meant for candidates in hcol cities.
Need to punch a bag every day for several days to get over this bs.

That’s definitely reasonable. $ is all adjusted for COL....do you know how cheap Thailand is 😂😂 when I was backpacking in Asia I met an American working for a Swiss company remotely in Vietnam. Now that’s called gaming the system buddy
Like... per year? And in usd? Is that normal?
Per year. USD equivalent. Deloitte S&O/S&A.
I had a friend interview with D there. Comp was $25-35k US for a SC.
Can't tell if it's real or not but 3 further data points for you:
1. If you think of SC salary vs median local annual pay, then the the multiple for most regions will stand at maybe at 2 to 4 times. Bangkok's median annual salary is probably in the neighborhood of $10k, so $25k to $35k doesn't sound too bad.
2. Unfortunately in Asia many big 4 players are predominantly seen as very low-cost implementation providers.
3. Per capita GDP in the US is $54.5k vs $7.6k in Thailand, roughly a factor of 7.
I think that’s reasonable given the cost of living there
