Anyone from EY have had their H1B filed fully and got receipt yet?

People specialized in M&A IT, what kind of exit opportunities do you guys look for? Do any of you require a Visa as well? How restrictive are these opportunities for people on Visa?

i’m a product designer with about 5+ YOE. I recently moved to the US on an H4 Visa. I’m hoping to get my EAD in a year’s time…. wondering if there’s anyway I could continue to consult or work with early stage startups maybe (without pay of course) and then transition to a paid role when the EAD arrives?

While applying for visa my company quoted 80K as compensation. Now they want to reduce it to 75K.

This feels like unfair practice. Is it common? What should be my approach?

Has anyone moved to Accenture Uk directly from some other MNC in India. I am being told that Accenture Uk will sponsor the visa but the Visa cost will be initially paid out by myself and it is approx 10000 pounds. This will be reimbursed once I come to the Uk. Also , for dependents Accenture will not sponsor the visa which is almost 5000 per person. Any insights on this would be useful.?

Are there firms that apply for green card while you’re still on OPT?

Posting for a friend- he recently switched job but has H1B stamped from previous employer on his passport. He has got my H1B transferred from old to new employer but just not restamped.
He needs to travel to India for a covid emergency in his family but dont know if he can enter back in US with old stamp on passport.
Any suggestions?

Weird--H1b petition received on June 16 and receipt notice given on June 29th via Nebraska office. USCIS processing time table says it's still working on April filings, but I got my approval yesterday. Is the processing time info no longer up to date?

Is this competitive? I was told the top end of the base was 215k but reserved for people with prior management experience. Initial offer was low 180k

Ok, so I got this research request: find case law for the principal that matters settled by the parties (not by a binding settlement agreement) cannot be litigated in subsequent litigation. Basically, the plaintiff told the defendant “we have resolved this issue.” This is not res judicata but maybe some type of estoppel. But honestly, I have never heard of this principal within this context, and I am not finding FL or federal case law to support. Anyone have thoughts?

My SO got I140 approved, but employer’s lawyer is saying that they retain the original I140. Is this normal practice? And if in future if my SO wants to change job, then does the transfer require original I140 ?

I have an approved I-140 and plan to change office locations. Due to the change, I have to file an amendment which will require that I restart the PERM process again. If they start the process does that mean I will be stuck with the firm till the new i140 is approved (approx 2 years) or is my old i140 still valid, incase better opportunities come by and I decide to leave the firm?
