Crowe offers flexible work arrangements where you can scale up and down the average hours you work (pay gets scaled by the same percentage) but allows you to stay in t market while meeting the needs of your family!
Did you use that? How was it?
Yes, best decision I ever made!
So i think it depends (but u will never know til u try). I was told the same thing, but my partners and managers were great about it. But you also need to advocate and set boundaries yourself (which should be easier bc for ex I needed to pick up my kids, do dinner, baths etc) so i am offline by 5/6. I think if you advocate for yourself and to ur teams ur plan, u can make it work, and if the plan doesn't work, adjust, and try again. It's deff doable. It's just about fining the right balance and also being okay that your career may just slow a little. Simply for the fact you're not on as many projects and learning as fast as someone who is full-time and seeing /doing more than you. But for me, the time with my family is worth that.
