Hello!
Does know anyone corporate at DoorDash?
So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

At BCG it's a parallel track with similar levels, not traditional partner as highest level.
There are expert partners
I did interview once without much luck. I can tell u the salary is the same with very wide ranges
@A1 was it for McKinsey Solutions? Or another entity? How was the culture? When you say salary is the same, same with what?
Business Technology, which I believe is now Digital McKinsey. It was for an Expert level which the recruiter said is the same as EM. The salary is the same as non-expert track? Not sure what the other one is called.
Wouldn't surprise if there wasn't a "partner" per se, but more of a high director level. Acn has similar roles, progression is slower, but money about the same.
@M1 do you have any idea around salary ranges etc?
Manager level starts around 150, might be 160.
I believe similar amounts to traditional partners
@A1 that's rather low for a McKinsey Engagement Manager
Avg salary is 175 on Glassdoor. 1st year manager around 160 sounds right to me.
160 first year EM sounds right to you?
Hahah maybe I'm naive, but I'm going off Glassdoor. I know associates start around 135. So I figured 160 would be reasonable
@M1 can you weigh in ? It didnt sound right to me :)
