Hey Googlers, I’m going in for my GCP TAM second round on Monday and had a few QQs for you all:
1. For the RRK2 case study if there is a scenario for handling peak time workloads where the client did a lift & shift of a monolithic architecture, is the best suggestion to move them to micro services to enable serverless and auto scaling features?
2. I was told that they’ll give me 15 mins to prep after the case study is shared live, would you suggest I build a 1 pager or is that not required?Google

I personally have the CISSP but work with several that have the CISM. I do think it’s definitely worth it cert for targeting future management roles or just cyber advisory in generic practice. I mainly work on the GRC side of the house though, so keep that in perspective.
Thank you, that is very helpful!

I think if you can’t or don’t want to get the CISSP it has its place. But keep in mind that almost every job that requires a CISM will accept the CISSP. The reverse is not always true.
Hi! I would love to talk to someone who is in the Cyber / Risk Advisory practice at Deloitte. What kind of projects do you work on? What is the typical lifetime of projects? Is it similar to Accenture (in case you know)?
Look for postings of jobs you want and see what cert they are asking for. That way, you don't waste your time on something that won't get you where you want to be.
Generally, a degree and one relevant cert will get you where you want to be. Anything beyond that is icing on the cake. I probably wouldn't hire someone just because of their certs. Experience, presentation in the interview, a candidate's thought process on answering difficult questions, and team fit are all more important than the collection of certs. (This coming from someone who has too many certs to list)
