I'm early in my career, managed to save $30K to invest, and want to get my hands dirty with a rental property without too much risk (e.g. no HML/flipping). It sounds like that's a tall order in the NY/CT area given the prices, not to mention whether I'd be able to get a mortgage on anything below $100K, but I figure I'll give it a shot anyway. Any advice on what you might do in my position? Am I being crazy with this idea?

When is follow the money a flawed strategy? Can/Will you put up with anything for the right price?

I might come off as naive here. But how is options trading different from setting a limit buy or limit sell. Any beginner article I can read up on options?

Hi all, I am trying to DCA bi-weekly into Vanguard ETFs, (VO, VTI etc). It seems like Fidelity does not support auto buying of non-Fidelity ETFs. So I was wondering which of these options you think is best?

1. Open a Vanguard Invest account
2. Look for Fidelity ETFs that are similar to Vanguard ETFs
3. Use smaller brokerages like SoFi l, Robinhood etc.

I really do not want to manage nor be active. My goal is to log-in like once every 6 months.

Currently have $10k in student loans and $30K in savings. Graduated in May and deciding whether or not I should pay them off. They are not accruing any interest right now, due to interest being halted on federal student loans. Some are saying student loans could be forgiven in the future. Would it make sense to write a check and pay them off now?

Do any of you ever think about paying off your student loan in one go ?
