Army cyber officer here with reserve and active experience. Let me know how I can help
I definitely agree with the comments above. The culture will be better in the Navy, but the quality of life will be better in the Air Force or space force.
I was a meat eater but did a lot of cyber warfare operations in a fires capacity then became a leader in a cyber/space/information warfare focused unit.
Mission is interesting, but I’d suggest reserves vs. active duty. You can always go on active orders if you want to but still have the option of playing less and focusing on the civilian career

Yep. After being at two COCOMs and multiple 3 and 4 star staffs, the culture of the Navy has proved the best for me so far. Least toxic and most entrepreneurial of all the services. There’s a reason the joint staff puts a lot of navy pilots in as leading action officers
If you’re going tech or cyber go Air Force/space force, or navy.
As a former Army O, I second G1’s comment.
My biggest regret is not joining the Air Force/CG. Army bases are in the middle of nowhere, with commanders (at all levels) who make life miserable for no reason at all. You’ll have a much better quality of life not in the Army
