Hi Techies,
I want to know that where should move/upskill from networking routing switching to other domains to get more salary.
I feels that networking industry doesn't have deep pocket like others.
Any suggestions of technology/domain?

I am a graduating student who just got offered 65k for a solution analyst role at Deloitte USDC (Data Engineering Focus). From reading previous posts it seems to be a lot of negative thoughts surrounding the USDC, but straight out of college is this a good opportunity?
I'm looking to gain as much experience as possible out of college in an IT role and wondering what exit opportunities may be in place a year or two down the road if there is little/slow progression.
Any Advice?

Hello!
I finished my final round(s) for a TAM position at Google (GCP) last week and was told by my recruiter that my feedback was great and that I made a solid impression on the team and am "firmly in the running". I was supposed to hear back this week (according to the recruiter) but he just told me that it's still in the process and that I'll have to wait for another week or so.
Is this common at Google ? I have heard they are notorious for being really slow with their hiring process.

Ugh isn't this the worst? It feels like you're moving up in the world but then all of a sudden, you realize it's not really that cracked up to be. I think it shows that you need to look elsewhere and find something that's more algined to your skill and talent
It is the worst - it feels awful. You're probably right. It would just be so amazing if employers valued their employees more so they didn't always feel like they needed to be searching for something new. It's exhausting.
Get out know your worth education cost too dollar keep your options open if need be work the position to gain experience in your field . Well wishes
Thanks so much. I'm thinking I'll keep looking while also hanging in here in the meantime so I can keep gaining experience. It's the worst when I know I deserve so much more, but hopefully soon. Thanks so much.
I once interviewed for a position that was advertised as a "Senior PA" position. I was excited about the opportunity, but when I got to the interview, the hiring manager told me that the position was actually just a regular PA position, but they were giving it a "Senior" title to make it sound more impressive.
I was disappointed, but I decided to keep my cool and see what they were offering in terms of salary. They offered me a salary that was lower than what I was making at my current job. I was furious, but I didn't want to make a scene, so I just politely declined the offer.
That kinda happened to me. I applied for a position. I was not considered for that status of the position (part time), but during the interview offered a PRN. The compensation is more but I’d rather have stability with reasonable pay.
