Yeah. I like my job, but if I can find something that pays more, I'll take it. Having more money can get you a whole lot of new opportunities.

I totally agree! I always tend to keep my eyes/ears open because you just never know!
I'm pretty happy in my job, so I usually don't answer recruiters if they talk to me. If I notice a fairly decent offer, I'll at least hear them out. I don't think I can find a job that's better than the one I already have, though.

It doesn’t hurt to hear the recruiter out. But yes, for me it has to be a lot for me to even consider leaving now.
random recruiters come to me with jobs that are half of what I'm currently making, which I ignore lol. idk what they thinking when they reach out about roles that are clearly a step down what people are doing currently. ive only been responding to ones that are likely to be higher salary, which does not happen often lmao

Yes, if the recruiter is low balling I just politely tell them never mind.
It can't hurt. Employers are always looking for ways to cut corners so it's good to keep your options open. Does your current employer see if you're still looking, though?

You can enable LinkedIn so that it tries to not show that you are looking for jobs online.
