Hi ,I have been interviewed and selected in S&P Global .salary almost negotiated and waiting for the offer letter to release. But seems like they are not willing to release the offer because of my 90 np . They are asking to join by 60 days but initially I told them my NP is 90. Even I am ready to take the 60 days offer but now they are not releasing offer as they want assurance. Now they are not picking calls.seems like i will loose the offer. Is there anything can be done.
Can u help me with the in-hand amount please?

I’ve made the switch. I think the worklife balance is the same (at least at Booz) but the compensation is better.
As far as if it’s easy to do, it really depends if you like analytics and coding. If you do, than it shouldn’t be too hard. I would suggest getting a handle of a scripting language to help with data cleaning and then moving on from there
Financial analytics and KPIs are hot (that’s what I’m in), I think decision modeling is big, like A/B testing and that suite of thinking, I know some people who do analytics stuff for like blue origin and spaceX but I’m less familiar with that school of thought. Our MD gave a presentation the other day discussing specialization in data and analytics and it’s basically a 2 axis chart of how technical you are and your domain competency. You need both to be valuable, I don’t think the domain matters as much as long as it’s a lucrative industry (think tech, fintech, finance, aerospace etc)
I’m a b4 analytics consultant! Lol, so it’s probably the same for me haha. But I’ve got 3 YOE and my client is trying to hire me at about 240 TC, current 170 TC. I’m not ready to leave consulting yet but there’s a reference point
Another b4, Deloitte pays the worst of all 4 tbh
Comp definitely better
