Anyone here who wasn’t from a competitive firm got into M7? I feel like being at Capgemini is the worst part in my application and am feeling quite dejected - looking for some hope. Everything else are decent (730 GMAT, good recs, 3.7 GPA, good ECs, and I think a good story line/essay, 1 promotion at standard timeline).

Hi Everyone! I have a background in health research. I received my first offer as a ux researcher 3 (1 step below senior) which is pretty competitive compared to my former field. It is with fanduel for 120k base, 6% bonus (8% next year since I’m not starting in jan) , I believe 10% in equity (12.5% next year) total comp 130. I’m extremely grateful but just wanted to see if this was acceptable for the industry. I’m mixed methods and they want to build out their quant side. Should I accept as is?

Twice now I have been ghosted by hiring managers after my initial HR screen. It’s really got me feeling like shit.

I keep hearing that Booth’s MBA program is rigorous (maybe the most rigorous out of M7). That said, how much more work are students expected to do compared to HBS, Wharton, Kellogg, etc.? I don’t know if this is an outdated opinion, considering a lot of MBAs are very demanding. Booth is personally my top choice for having a flexible curriculum & 2-3 days of classes. But I really want to know what to expect around the “rigorous” label. Does it mean I’ll be buried in coursework the other 2-3 days?
