I think that's the point. Practice management sees utilization as the main lever to revenue, so they are hyper focused on keeping that number up up up. Meanwhile, project managers are incentivized to maximize project profitability, so they try to push down on billed hours and cannot be relied on to notice or manage low staff utilization. Really the report should just go to practice leadership and they would pressure the appropriate managers, but instead they decided to just blast everyone...
Are you talking about the availability reports?
All I'm getting from it is that people are going to pad their hours in the eternal quest for chargeability so as not to be a "low performer"on that stupid rpm model
That's exactly the point. I know the people with the most hours available are the people I don't want to staff on one of my jobs
Nope it lets directors and managers know who lied about availability(not the staff per se but managers claiming them) so we can call bullshit on serial offenders.
It really depends on the user ... Some people uses information much better than others
