GMAT score: include or leave off resume? I took it to apply to MAcc programs a few years ago and got a 770. No intention of going to bschool but not sure if including it is a red flag or if it helps.

I’m just feeling a little FOMO seeing friends in MBA traveling the world, partying and making new friends. If I were to get an MBA it would only be for the experience and potentially the network (though I’m in Asia so I’m not sure how useful the network in the US would be).

Has anyone been asked for a post alumni interview call with A mba program before?

Currently an analyst at LMM PE firm (~$3B AUM) going to H/S in 2023. How can I best position myself for competitive PE roles coming out of MBA? How much does networking with firms early, developing headhunter relationships, and building up deal reps move the needle? Any thoughts on how my experience will be perceived having skipped IB?

Thoughts on masters from oxbridge? I'm interested in a PhD after but also want some flexibility to work for a bit after back in consulting.

We have an employee who continually takes intermittent FMLA. She never fully uses her 480 hours but comes close. Then she renews, year after year. I am in search for a good admission consultant. I am between, Melody Jones (Vantage Point), Donna Baumann (Stratus) and Petia Whitmore (myMBApath). I talked to many other such as Scott, Stacy, Sanford K, mbamission, Fortuna, SquareonePrep, ARINGO, IVY and several other boutique firm( Loubna, Masaki, Sparrey etc.). I am yet to talk to Menlo. Do you have any recommendations regarding these adcons or any other that that you worked with?

Consultant at tier 2 firm (ATK/PWC/OW) with fast track promotion to associate . Looking to apply at Kellogg 1y with a 4 year old GRE score 325. Indian female with undergrad background in urban planning and masters in Data science. GPA 3.9+ masters and UG. What chance do I stand? Any advice? Also thinking of 2y programs in Booth, Wharton, etc, but less inclined due to duration of the program.

How much does everyone consider the actual classes, programs, and cool extracurriculars/clubs when considering a school? Obviously they all have strong activities, but do those things really matter to people? Or is it just recruiting, fit, rank, etc?

So I submitted a resume with template language still on it (i.e. Major/Minor). Am I very screwed?

Is there a point when MBA doesn't make financial sense? I'm 29 at $180k base with additional compensation typically around 15-25% over the last few years.

I like what I'm doing I think, but a top MBA had always been one of those personal goals of mine. Goal would be to maybe switch to MBB where I think compensation is slightly higher than what I'm getting right now at my level.

Does it make sense to do a 2 year program, probably be $200k in debt and miss out on $400k earnings :(?

Where should I go to school if I want to join a startup? Or form one with bschool friends? Only 700 GMAT and not super impressive background so GSB/HBS is out of the question. Ross? Fuqua? Anderson? Johnson Tech MBA? Background in healthcare provider technology.

Do people lie about their goals to match their story for adcomms? Like if a goal makes more sense for your story, would you just say that in your app?
