Let's say through a combination of aggressive saving, high income, and savvy investments, I manage to save several million by the time I'm 40.

If at that time I decided to pursue my passion and go to law school so that I can be an affordable attorney for worthy causes, will my age hold me back from getting into law school?

Are UC schools like ucla and berkeley well respected in the east coast? For example, if I was to pursue a masters at one of these UCs, would it be well recognized and help in terms of a career perspective?

Trying to get into a t25 program, studying currently for the GMAT. I see a ton of people posting how they started off in the 600s and got into 700s. Are there others who started in high 400s or low 500s that got into the high 600s or 700s? Trying to encourage a friend of mine and looking for positive feedback if possible lol. They’re currently at 510s (I’m 540) and shooting to get into upper 600s at a minimum.

I am an Engg. (2004-2008) then went for MBA from UPES, Dehradun in Oil and Gas (2012-2014 : Regrettable decision). No connection though with O&G industry. Approx 10 years of work exp. Thinking of pursuing ISB MBA for a career jump. Present CTC 12.75. Any suggestions on which course shall I go for or any other alternatives. I can go for regular MBA too. (My age is 36, if it helps).

I am relocating to Charlotte NC November 30th and on the career hunt . I have experience in HR, hospitality, social work, customer service, and education. I’ll graduate with my Master of Social Work in May 2023. I’ve been applying to a few things but no luck. I’m open to trying new career fields and to hybrid, on-site , or remote work. What was your experience with the LSAT? Do you think it's gatekeeping, preventing students who can't afford it (often people of color) from entering the field? OR is it helping future attorney's of color by giving them a chance to go to a top school regardless of grades? I've seen questions about the LSAT all day and just want to know how people feel.

Had an interview for an associate position at Citi. Interviewee was based in London and I’m in NYC. The only interview time that worked was 6am. I was barely functioning and feel like I truly messed up in my answers because I couldn’t not think clearly. I have another with the head of the division next week again at 6am (pre determined before this interview). It was also hard because the division’s core work is private enough that there was not much prep I could do beforehand. Tips?

IFRS question. A long outstanding loan (more than 5 years). Borrower has stopped operations years after loan was issued. Should the loan be fully impaired? If not, how should PD be calculated (can't get equivalent PD of the credit rating since there's no more tenor).

How long is too long to take off from GMAT? Spent~8 months on it plus working while living alone and think it’s started to take its toll (panic attacks, etc.). Need to get up ~30 points or so and thinking of getting healthy/deferring application to next year.
