Hi DI folks, how were the hikes last year??
TCS is the worst company one can be in.
Cheap mindset management cares more about timesheet, wfo, forceful mandatory trainings, imposing strict restrictions on laptop, access to personal docs only via vpn,no employee well being no salary hikes nth at all.90% projects filled with freshers coz they cost less.No WLB for good dedicated hard working employees as they are punished with more and more work, leaves rewards mostly for people who don’t work. But no issues kyunki job security hai 😂
What will be inhand salary?

I tend to overwork myself and it’s really taking a toll on my mental well-being. I want to learn a lot and prove myself to my superiors so that they recognize me/see value. Now my work has a sense of dread to it. I watched my parents be workaholics growing up, so it’s all I know. I’m also goal-oriented and driven, so achieving a lot scratches that itch for me. But, it’s making me want to quit cause I’m burned out and depressed….im not sure what to do. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I think there’s a threshold where the $$$ makes sense. You can leave any time for a 15-20% raise, but you give up some of your match, some retention bonus etc. where the money doesn’t make sense.
Where as if you switch firms and service lines and get a 30+% raise how does your comp track look 2-3 years down the line? Is it still 30% higher than your peers (think people 2-3 years above you) or is it just in line?
Switched service lines too and got a 50%+ pay bump
Currently in the process of doing this. Getting a little more than double my current salary. Going from LCOL to T1 city
Also curious about this
I switched a while back for 80%+ bump and it was definitely worth it. Learning the admin stuff isn’t that hard as it’s a similar process just different technology. The bigger concern is if you are looking to stay in consulting (want to make partner) you can only do this so many times
