While people with poor performance should be worried, that is not the driver of most COVID layoffs. Big Blues layoffs back at the end of May hit both strong and poor performers. I am certain that was the same at D and at ACN.
What really matters is are you your skills aligned with a department or division at your company where your leadership expects sales growth?
* If you are a management consultant who is an expert in the airline industry (where things aren’t great right now), you might be at risk.
* If you are a tech consultant who doesn’t know a thing about “cloud”, bye-bye.
* if you are over 45 years old, good luck. (I fall in this group and I worry every time there is a layoff. Been safe so far)

C1 - they won’t get rid of all consultants. But companies in Airlines and other hard hit industries are all in, as A1 says, cash savings mode.
I think it's coming soon. Solid performer, but have taken ownership on WLB so probably not a favorite pet of partners
