Anyone on here in organizational psychology consulting? I’ve been reading a lot of books in IO Psych. and would love to transition to that field. Currently in ERP consulting. If you could share how you got started and any advice for someone looking to go in that field (degrees/experiences/etc).

Started career in SAP consulting but would like to pivot into sustainability and environmental consulting. Does my current work-related experience disqualify me for jobs in this field or what should I do now to make myself a better candidate for jobs in this space? Any companies I should look into with sustainability practices?

I have a younger family member (almost 13) who is very interested in cybersecurity. How can this person learn and grow in a safe manner if he/she isn’t near a city with youth clubs and etc? Idea is to reinforce ethics, but this material is far too advanced for the parents.

Senior attorneys at v100, how common is it for attorneys who start at small firms to lateral to biglaw? Have you worked with any? Currently going to school for my cannabis certification but I rarely see any jobs that offer cannabis research. I currently work in a lab/greenhouse environment and would love to continue that line of work with hemp/cannabis. I am being asked to move to Richmond, VA for Sr. Mgr. Supply Chain Analytics role in an organization that is dire need of help.

I am currently at 146k TC, they are offering 190k TC.

I originally wanted a director level role to set the strategy, process, and tools.

Instead I am just being asked to develop the tools.

My hypothesis is a clear lack of strategy and no accountability for process compliance will mean any tools developed will fail.

Can anyone explain why this is anti Semitic? It was targeted at Israel (not Jewish people, although they comprise much of Israel) but seemed to me to be a critique. Did not sound anti-Semitic to me.

Told a friend of mine in tech I was considering moving to BCG. He asked me if I would have to move to Boston.

I followed up by asking what he thought the top consulting firms were. "I'd guess PwC and then McKinsey are the best. I've also heard of KPMG, Deloitte, and Bain, but I don't know much about them."

Partner quit their job, and according to job contract, have to pay back "training costs" since they left before an agreed-upon amount of time. When it comes to taxes, how should I treat this amount?
