Is five full days enough in Iceland? Late July!
What's the salary range for a director at the Gilead Sciences foundation? There is a position perfect for me, but I don't want to throw my hat in the ring if starting salary isn't $180-190k. Also, any thoughts on the stability of their philanthropic commitment? There's talk of a recession; I don't want to go private to be cute a few months later.

Slalom is great if you don’t want to travel, are willing to roll your sleeves up, are content to sell and deliver small projects to mostly mid-market clients.... AND are ok with compensation that lags the big firms.
Any feedback in general about Slalom? Everyone keeps touting great things about it - then probably 30 percent of people can’t stand it - they say its staff aug and there is no defined career trajectory.
With Slalom you have to understand each office is independent, and can vary widely.
You also have to understand we have little brand equity and varying leadership quality. That said, great tech platform, limited travel expectations, and no-one will ask you to work 50+ hours.
If you want to take over the world, Slalom probably isn’t the place to do it, but it is a good company, and there are opportunities, you just need to find them yourself!
Agreed with above, we are for the most part a third tier firm.
