What’s Centene’s reputation to the outside world? You can be honest. I understand the overall distain for health insurance companies in general. I’ve been experiencing a lot of internal conflict after surviving 2 acquisitions in 4 years, most recently by Centene. All it took was 1 Google search to make me start questioning everything.

I think since I became a real estate agent my friends are avoiding me... it's like they think I see them as "prospects" rather than my pals. Hard to get out of salesman mode at the end of the day though.

First year here in a quiet patch (following a very busy period). There have been a few days where I bill 0 hours, which I’m told isn’t worth worrying about in this quiet time. But how do you spend your time on days when you bill nothing? This is a major stress for me. Cheers!
Did anyone got 3+ feedback from your team mates?

My husband and I have 1 car - around $6K left on a 0% APR loan. I have worked from home the last 2 years while he goes to teach in person, and the lack of freedom is getting to me. We are thinking of getting a 2nd vehicle. Do you have advice/do’s and don’t’s? Vehicles aren’t a great investment, but they are so necessary in our car centric society for mobility.
Can someone explain HSA and FSA to me? What are the pros and cons? Should I maximize my contributions?

Thoughts on potential business ideas or investment opportunities where I can live the life I deserve now and not in retirement? I’m always trying to think of potential business ideas and come up with nothing. As far as interests, it doesn’t matter what it is. As long as it makes money I’m interested.
Do we have 2 or 3 more days before February sell off / correction? Or do I take profits now and then buy the dip?
I have a lot of student debt from law school. I’ve refinanced a couple of times and received the best fixed rate available, but I’ve seen others refinance with a variable rate which of course is lower. I’ve read some other comments of people refinancing at a super low variable rate....isn’t this risky? Of course I am afraid of going variable and then the interest rates going up a lot. Am I missing something?

Hi guys. I’m 30, first year attorney, 400k student loans, 5000 in savings, car paid off, and no credit card debt. No kids. $72k salary currently. FML. 😭😭😭. So, I’m struggling. Used to be a pathological saver and had tons on money anxiety. Now, I have totally fallen victim to lifestyle creep and need to cut back on frivolous expenses (eating out and clothing). I’m SO ashamed that my monthly spend is so high (approx $7k/month). I make big law money and can afford it but I am stunned at how easily I spend money now. I’d like to divert more of that cash to retirement, but I need to rein in that spending before I do. Good god.
Are there women here that have a significantly larger income than their male partner/ spouse? My husband used to make a little more money 10 years ago when we first met (when we were both making under 60k). Then I started climbing a fast track career ladder and now make a total comp of close to 300k and he is still under 80k... (which is totally fine with me btw). But I have noticed that this has caused a lot of serious issues for our relationship. any advice?
Has anyone here used Groundfloor as a way to invest in real estate debt? Interested in chatting with folks who have tried or are thinking about it - what are the potential pitfalls here? Seems like if you diversify across a number of notes, you could earn a fairly healthy return here?
We are first time home buyers, found 2 homes that we like. After a 20% down, monthlies (mortgage, insurance & hoa) for the smaller one are coming in at 20% of HHI, whereas payments for the slightly larger/nicer one are coming in at 30% of HHI. We have no other debt. Conflicted on which one to pick. Which one would you pick? TIA!

Those benefits are pretty wack but the interest % is good. I like the user interface. Solid app.
I don’t think there are fees (certainly not for my consultation), but I don’t think they are a fiduciary either. I think the value they add for sofi is selling products to the users, which may or may not be good.
I like Sofi a lot but haven't taken advantage of the things you mentioned. I initially got it for the cash bonus and high interest ($275 and 3%) but ended up making it my main bank. 2 day early paychecks, stocks, crypto, loans... good platform overall.
I'll need to look into those extra benefits, although I have a pretty good view of my investments already so maybe not.
Will leave this in case...
