Amazons first reach out is pretty quick! Usually within two weeks of the app you’d hear back if they’re interested, probably sooner
The ones been under consideration for a month and the other one a couple days. I hope to hear something soon. I really want to get into Amazon
I applied a little over a week ago and just did a phone interview with the hiring manager and another person. Waiting to hear back on next steps in the process
Time depends on Hiring Manager but normally is fairly quick (within a week). I would say that you will see it say “no longer under consideration” and may or may not hear back depending.
Damn! I’ve had one sitting under consideration for like a month and the other for only a few days. Hopefully I hear something soon. Thanks for the reply
It means you’re in resume review by the HM. If it’s been over a month, they’re likely not interested.
Ahh ok so I’ll assume the one that’s been sitting for a month is a no go. Thanks!
Under consideration only means your application is in a queue somewhere. I work here and have a few applications "under consideration" for years. Agree with what others have said that if you don't hear back within a couple weeks, you're probably not going to move forward. It's sad that the recuter doest just move your application out of the queue.. but it's also possible that you applied to a pooling job (it's either pooling or pulling. Can't remember) wich means the recuter doesn't have a job open right now but will have a few soon. They use this so they can keep increasing applications close
No problem! Good luck and keep applying!
