Can anyone shed some light on quant funds please? https://groww.in/mutual-funds/escorts-tax-plan-direct-growth
I am seeing stellar returns and extremely low expense ratios but apparently since they're quantitatively managed algorithms, they don't account for things like corona for example.

Have gone through interviews with multiple recruiters. If they get you into the company’s interview process then it’s legit. They get paid when you get the offer.
I agree with this. This has been my experience as well.
this is 100% legit. this is what they’re paid to do once you sign the offer and you give your resignation. look up agency recruiting as an umbrella term
I have and now I also work with these recruiting agencies as a hiring manager. My opinion is that these recruiters genuinely want you to land the position so they get the % cut that is agreed upon between the agency and the place of work.
These agencies are putting you forward and you become their "product" and reason that the company should use them again so its easy for it to feel like it's unauthentic as a candidate.
From being on both sides of this relationship now, I'm actually thankful to these agencies for seeking and finding the top talent!
Yes and I find it annoying, they want to talk so much. I don’t need to talk to them before and after every round of interview. But they push it so hard.
Yea the push for you because they get paid only as a % of your salary after you accept and been at the position for a certain amount of time. It’s a very feast or famine position for these headhunters
Normal agency challenges. It’s in their best interest for you and the employer to both lower standards and meet the other party’s demands since the recruiter is motivated for a successful placement.
I’d be curious to see if recruiter strategies changed if they got significantly less reward for a placement but then got much larger rewards at milestones for those placements (1 year, 3 year, internal promotion, etc.)
Have also worked with these recruiters before and they'll pound the table to get you in because they get paid if you do make it in.
Just make sure that they fully understand the job description - - last one I worked with sold me a FP&A role as corporate strategy (my current role).
They are legit. I once got hired through a recruiter and she got paid when I got the offer. It would be a red flag if they don't invest or care much about your hiring process.
