I would not recommend working at Wayfair if you’re looking for healthy and supportive culture. Also, their product teams don’t communicate well, and they tend to do a ton of patchwork on top of old code. Also, expect to be laid off within the first 1-3 years-they love their layoffs and insist they are a “start up” when they’ve been in business for over 20 years and have thousands of employees…still original CEOs, too.
That’s good to know! Thank you!

I have multiple friends who have done the rounds, Wayfair will bring you in with their fun office and “culture”, and then wring you out by having you work long hours.
If a place advertises free meals, most likely you’ll be eating dinners at the office
Free meals, snacks, office visiting masseuse, onsite gym…these things are expensive to provide so a red flag for overwork.
They want to keep you working for as many hours as possible while making you feel “taken care of”.
