Are hybrid jobs just dead now? I don’t see them advertised anymore. I love going into the office 3x per week to collaborate. The two remote days are great for heads down work and video meetings. Is this arrangement more likely to stay or go to 4 days in office in 2026?

Our company has 2 day remote hybrid. They're reducing that to 1 day for managers in April and the people doing 2 days have to do it on Mondays and Fridays. I do 4 x 10, so am not eligible for remote hybrid.

There are many hybrid jobs out there however, sometimes you’ll see a job as a remote, but you have to live within 100 miles of an office because they need you in in 24 hours notice sometimes. Which is absolute crap a very large bank that does major advertisinghas that stipulation.

Remote jobs aren’t “dead”. I see hundreds of them for analysts. Idk why people say remote is dead. It’s clearly not

Hybrid still a thing because every job offer I get are hybrid

Not sure if hybrid jobs are definitely dead, but remote jobs seem to be. It seems hybrid still happens, but those situations are not as plentiful as they had been. I contend office time is essential, when I was working remotely I wasn't learning from people around me and I found it too isolating. To be honest, I suspect everyone will be back in the office eventually, that's just the way the tide is going.

The office day would be filled with people gossiping or complaining all day. Most were not even on the same team despite doing similar work. Definitely distracting to anyone who wants to get their work done.

I see mostly hybrid postings… but fully remote not as many… if companies are asking for 5 days in office good luck hiring!
