No - try to find that 1/32 white or Latino you can leverage
Boys are at a disadvantage; girls are loved and cherished because there are so few of them of any variety in the sausage fest that is the American bschool.
Again. They *are* minorities. Not underrepresented. So they meet the "M" of URM, not the "U" and the "R". Also they're really not considered URMs. In fact their acceptance rates for jobs/colleges is the same or likely lower than white males. Def. not "diversity candidates because they're minorities"
PwC I don't think that's true from an admissions perspective. South Asian females are better off than South Asian males, but they still are not technically considered "underrepresented" when compared to blacks and Hispanics.
Now if you're black Asian, you've got it going for you! 😎
Tongue-in-cheek, but if you're a Native American, black, and Hispanic female with an engineering degree, I'm 99% certain HBS or Stanford would accept you as long as you knew the difference between a noun and a verb.
How can Indians be under represented minorities? There's one of us in every six people on this earth!
EY3 - uh not in the US. They are minorities, but actually overrepresented minorities
Serious question: are Asians considered URM?
I actually hit all of those boxes P2. I can't imagine itl help me thaaaaaaat much
Lol, south asian male is the most difficult applicant pool. Tons of competition in the us and international.
In my school, all females get a forte scholarship. One of my female classmates called it the vagina scholarship 😂.
But yeah Asians in general don't have an advantage. The applicant pool is full of whites and Asians
South Asians being Pakistani, Indian, Bengali, etc.***
It's going to be competitive for Asians. Even Asian females
😂😂😂😂😂😂
No
Pwc4 what school?
Probably Georgia Tech or some other engineering heavy school 🤓
Well yeah, I understand that, C1. The fact that Indians are considered minorities doesn't make sense to me
P2 & ey1, lower end of the top25 spectrum where the schools give out more in scholarships to bring in more competitive students.
God fucking damnit
