I have been trying for a job since 2 months. Till date have given only two interviews. My learnings as of now:
1. Linkedin, Monster etc are useless for higher exp manegerial / BA / consultant roles.
2. Applying on company website is useless
3. Only Naukri results in calls
4. No calls for 90 day NP
5. A lot of calls when you write NP as 30 days but none will result in an interview as soon as you will tell them about buy out.
My current approach is to write currently serving NP with 40-45 days left for joining. Lets see how it goes.
The HRs are not concerned with your profile or credentials. The game has gone dirty.

Mention your status as Serving Notice Period. Definitely you will get calls. And then tell the HRs that you can join in 1 month. Try getting the offer. Once you get the offer, then try to get early release in your current company.

Mentioning serving notice is a bad idea instead Reduce your Notice period to 45 days, If someone calls, then tell them You can join in 45 days as you are in between of project and can get early release.
I am in the same situation. If I say I ll try to get early release they say need to ask my client. If you say I ll buy notice period they say we don't want that.
