No. It isn’t. Once same-sex marriage became legal where I am (USA—and other states here earlier) a lot of LGBT people rushed into marriage to prove a point. I never did, and am still happily not single and not married. But I know quite a few people—mostly lesbians for some reason, a few gay men, too—who have already been divorced at least twice.

Colorado is particularly scary as it recognizes
Common law marriage and is a community property state. Ditto for Texas.
Only if it’s important to the two of you. Nothing else really matters.
To each their own! Happily married for 11 years. It does make some things easier with kids.
No, it is not,married or not, if only both of you are happy doing things together,it will better to avoid the legalities of this thing called marriage ,it could be scary at times
