Can you clarify what you mean by that? Like… design, coding, etc.? Specifying which APIs or architecture to use? “Hands on” can mean very different thing to different people and is also highly dependent on context, team maturity, technicality of the role, etc
Design to some degree- more like an initial design which helps illustrate the requirements. My design will definitely not be the final one.
Coding? None.
Demos, fairly often. More or less depending on product and organization, in my experience
How much input you have and whether you're listened to will depend on the product and size of the company.
From my course and looking at job postings, it seems that it's the wild west right now for what is offered.
