As an introvert, I struggle with interviews. Sometimes, I feel like the application process doesn't focus on "are you good for the job" -- but are you good at interviewing. I have been interviewing at a few companies since September and feel like a piece of meat getting thrown about and chewed -- whether it's chasing ppl down for an update, getting ghosted, or doing multiple interviews w/ repetitive Qs being asked again & again. I'm exhausted & hope others have had better experiences.

I've had three interviews so far: 1) with the recruiter, 2) with the hiring manager, 3) with the lead of an adjacent division. I was contacted by the hiring manager (just 5 days after interview 3) asking if I was still interested and if I'm available for another meeting. He mentioned it would only take 30 minutes. Any thoughts on what to expect?

Interviewed for a GS-15 (same agency but different office) and totally aced the interview with excellent answers. They know I’m a top performer with senior references. However I noticed there was an internal candidate who has been there for few years and interviewed that’s a veteran. I feel my chances just sank and want to gauge thoughts.

Why do recruiters never tell you which agency they want to talk to you about until they get you on the phone? I don’t want to waste anyone’s time and it would be helpful to know this info from the initial outreach.
