Lol yes and not because you’re Asian
For Asians, it takes about 47 minutes on average
Have you watched Up in the Air? The Asians are the ones you want to wait behind in line
Any travel to Canada requires immigration. I’ve been to Montreal a few times, but not Toronto so can’t comment on gates etc
Wait why is being Asian a differentiator here unless you are a citizen of a country in Asia?
Yes, you go thru immigration unless ur a Canadian citizen, and it depends on how long immigration line is. If not busy, you'd be out the door in less than 20 min after deplaning
Asia is a big place, can you be more specific as in country?
Omg managers
What airport in Toronto? Pearson or the island?
Wouldn’t you already be at a gate when you’re disembarking at Toronto? Are you transferring?
Do you mean you're coming from Asia and connecting at EWR to Toronto? If you're going straight from US to Canada, immigration happens after you land in Canada, like it usually does for most countries. Not sure I understand the question.
Regardless of your point of origin, you will need to go through immigration and customs. You will have to get your bag, go through, and then drop off your bag after you clear customs
There is a huge difference between Pearson and Toronto City (the island airport) Pearson is one of the busiest in North America and Toronto City is very small... the immigration lines will be drastically different.
If you are not a US citizen, and flying from the US to Canada, then immigration happens in Canada. When flying back, CBP check happens in Canada and not in the US. This is unlike what happens for any other country of origin. Canada actually has US CBP agents in their airports (at least at YYZ).
Watch border security..all answers can be found in that show
I was talking about immigration at the origin. It is there in India, was not sure if it is here as well. I want to know how early to plan to leave. I thought American and Canadian citizens might have a different route. Didn't not feel it was a dumb question, but damn apologies for asking this. Will figure when I travel two days later!
What shade of Asian tho
Yes please explain the Asian part again
