Could be burn out. Feeling the same way.
Bowl Leader
I’m sorry to hear that a new job is already causing such stress. You’re not alone, and burnout is a totally normal thing to experience.
What is it about these projects that makes you feel this way? Is it the volume of work, or something else entirely? Or is the anxiety just there regardless of work?
How long have you been in your total career OP? I ask as I assume you feel a little guilty about feeling this was at a NEW company. You may be thinking “…way too soon to feel this way…” and I get that. For me the burnout is from years (well, decades) of running a career very hot, getting burned out, then hoping jobs, being invigorated by the new job/challenge, but the burnout form the last job was still there so I start in the new role in the hole. So here I am, only 3+ years at a current job and I’m 100% cooked. I think in 25 years I’ve worked my jobs so physically hard/fast (and emotionally hard/fast) to equal to 50 years of work. I didn’t pace myself, and now I’ve got a problem. Hiding burnout is a lot easier when your young. I don’t have a recco other than take care of you first, the rest will take care of itself.
I’m sorry you feel this way this is me as well I posted a similar post about being remote. Talk to your manager, prioritize projects, list out your strength and you will see you have many you bring to the table - don’t dim your light! They hired you
