My dad's a senior software architect getting 35 lpa for 18 years work experience in cognizant. His tech stack is AEM and he has worked on angular and Java Projects as well. Since he is getting underpaid a lot ... Hopefully someone can refer him Adobe or some product companies. Even service company with good pay also is acceptable

$50k more than current job, or just $50k???
$50K more than current job.
Talk to your partner when you get the offer…..he/she will increase your pay by $20-25k if you are good performer
I think levels don’t matter right now ……message from top is to help everyone to stay. There is so much work at PwC and shortage of resources….still discuss it with your partner before resigning but at that point if they don’t offer anything then you should not stay……
$50k as a controller...? You'll do better in PA.
If it's in an industry you'll enjoy working in...take it!
How much do you like your job rn? What matters more, money or happiness?
I enjoy it, but it’s still audit so it’s not great. I think money is our ticket to longterm happiness as we want to break free from the grind and FIRE
Do you like your current job $50k worth???
If you have good relationships/friendships with coworkers, that will continue when you leave.
Take the $50k raise you won't regret it
I’d pick where you want to live and then find a job. Don’t let a good job drag you to a place you won’t like. The money won’t make up for it. I waited years to find a controller position closer to home than my PwC office was. No regrets on that decision.
