AWS vs Azure, best for culture + compensation?

Sorry new here may be wrong bowl. I will be getting out next year and I have an in with both of these companies. Everyone tells me to go AWS because it's popular and #1, but then I read about the burnout culture of AWS and how so many leave after their first 2 years. I need to make a decision soon and stick with it. Compensation appears to have AWS on the higher side. Microsoft appears to win with culture.

Which would you pick and why?

Under trump tax plan: earn 120k, pay 33% taxes, net pay is 80k. Earn 112k, pay 25%, net pay is 84k. Approaching a salary bump, what would you do?

Curious to know what other firm's bonus structures are, particularly those with billable requirements of 1900 and below. Trying to understand what the norm is and figure out if associates at my firm are getting screwed. thanks

I’m a 9th year in a mostly litigation-based practice group at a one-tier partnership firm. My group’s billable hours have been low the last few years, so making partner will be nearly impossible, and a counsel position is not viable long-term in my group. What’s the best option here if partnership is the ultimate goal? Try to get a NEP/counsel position at another firm, which is likely difficult in my market, or offer to take a class cut by a few years?

I have multiple offers now with product/service based companies.
The top and the best offer I have is from a service based organization of almost 100% hike.
Now my company wants to retain me & offering me even higher. What should I do?

I'm SVP/strategy for a PR agency. I moved into PR, Healthcare, and Strategic Planning only 3 years ago. An agency recruiter is trying to convince me to move into a GSVP account role, assuring me "at that level it's all strategy." (I dont think she understands the words she's using. Or that I'm qualified). But long-term, knowing account roles are so much more plentiful than brand planning in PR, I'm wondering if I should start thinking about account. Anyone here moved from strategy to account?

I've gotten the Deloitte D launch orientation survey. Me start date is on the 16th (less than 2 weeks). I've emailed BI onboarding twice, called my recruiter asking if they are ok with background/employment verification check and I've not gotten a response. I’ve been approached my by company that one of our large clients (who im currently project managing for) is looking for a consultant of sorts, and if they hire us, I’d be the first person asked to take on this consultant role. This isn’t something my company typically offers and would greatly change the scope of my role. Has anyone ever taken on a role like this?
