They are fine, still not sure wtf everyone cares about backpacks. Shoulder bags cause actual damage to your back and shoulder. Not worth to give a shot about people to hate for no reason
For work I think it's fine. I think more people should use them. They're better for your back! And briefcase bags are too consultant-y at some clients
A bit of a sensitive issue for me, so apologies for the long winded post....After wrenching out my back using the Tumi laptop bag, I switched to a backpack. I'm all for looking highly professional, to the point where Im always in a pressed suit and shirt, shined shoes, and my socks, tie, and shirt are coordinated. However, with all the travel we do, at a certain point you have to be able to make decisions that generally benefit your health. Now if you choose to go the backpack route, obviously don't get like a jansport, or something you'd wear in high school. If someone tries to call you out on it, explain your reasoning, and if they continue to question your reasoning, then guess who the asshole is.

A BIG 👎
Nope
If I'm local, backpack. I'm first in, toss it down, no optics issues.
If I travel, briefcase. If only to toss on top of my rollon.
No one cares do whatever you like
