Amazons excessive interviews are an awful candidate experience. Why do they think this will help them win top talent in this competitive environment? Especially with their public cultural issues…? Lots of great paying companies without having to take a day off from work to interview! It’s overkill

Had my interview on 12th Feb evening. The same day late night I got an email asking to upload the Application form( Completed the same on 13th Feb). Can I understand only HR discussion pending for me? If yes how much time will it take for me to get the HR call.

Have a big interview tomorrow. The question I dread the most is about why you’re looking for a new job. The honest answer is that there isn’t enough work to go around at my agency and I want to get ahead of the inevitable layoffs. What’s the best way to tell them this? Completed onsite interviews for the TAM role and recruiter gave me feedback that my technical depth wasn’t up to par for the role but my googleness/leadership and GCA interview feedback was stellar so they plan to propose me for Cloud PM roles instead. Does this happen? Or are they just being nice? What’s the probability that they’ll match me to another role?

👉Just ask for it. Really, you would be surprised. Might be easier to switch to a new company and ask. I did that 3 years into my career.

And 🛑 wasting your time at a company that under-values you severely. Sometimes switching companies every 2 years or so will allow you to keep raising the bar for yourself.
