BDO Tax Tech is expanding. Finally have openings again. (Experienced associate, exp senior , manager) the culture is amazing on this team, great people from top to bottom. Fairly small team, so you don’t get pigeonhole. No tax season, and fully remote.

Looking for someone with strong ASC 740 background and have experience with provision software (OTP, Corptax, TRCS etc) or someone strong with tools like Alteryx, Power Apps, etc.

Dm if you wanna get out of tax compliance.

I wouldn’t call replacing people who left “expanding”

ROFL BDO 1. Exactly. Mass exodus after PE entry, all teams contracted heavily after having the rug pulled out. Now BDO is just desperate.

BDO in general maybe, but not our tax technology team. We have been growing and have goal to double our team’s headcount.

What's the comp/bonus/hours look like in that group?

I’m looking to join internally, any chance that could happen

hi all, currently have two offers:

1: EY - FDD, home city, very good $$ for FDD

2: PwC - post-merger integration, DDV team (essentially M&A Consulting) - bigger city, always been keen to move

Coming as a Senior in Audit, with recent FDD exposure (2 deals, obviously not much). I was looking for something more than just number crunching, wanting a mix of quant / quali / strategic work. M&A Advisory or a Corp Strategy role is where I'm looking to end up long term.

Thanks in advance!

Hey Fishes. I wanted to understand one thing.

When you apply for any opportunity, how well versed should you be with all the things mentioned in a JD, like certification, experience, some tools and technology, coding language. Do you see a 100% fit before you apply or go for the opportunity if you see the responsibilities meeting your expectation and know only like 60% of the expected or desired skills.

Have you been selected if in case you applied knowing you meet less criterias?

Hi Guys,

I have couple of offers and difficult to decide plz suggest

experience: 10 years

tech: java , microservices and GCP

Coforge: 35

Thanks!!

I want to build my career in analytics. I have offer from EY India, EXL and LatentView Analytics.
EY is more on the side of project management and process improvement in SaaS, as told. While there is hands-on in other two.

If I don't consider pay, which company is the best to go for considering work and culture(peope friendly).
