why would you like it?
20s me loved it, 30s me is tired and likes my own bed too much

I miss my kids :(
If you’ve got a good team, then it’s great! I’m on really long projects with normally one travel week per month and am genuinely friends with my teammates, so I do enjoy it
I do not like regular work travel, but my current model of traveling approximately once per quarter works for me
I used to. But in the end it only amounted to racking up miles, points , bragging about how busy I’m and unhealthy lifestyle. The biggest positive was saving up on expenses. When I see posts here about “I’m in an airport, wondering about next business invention “ or “how horrible TSA lines are”… I chuckle a little. So yeah, it can be fun depending on the stage of life you are in.
After I left, it was a somewhat depressing not to travel at first. Primarily because I had too much time away from work. So I started cycling , learned to cook and planning personal travel with my family. I get to hang out with friends and enjoy some of local stuff more.
It’s fun flying over to Switzerland, Germany, France, NYC from London. Always hard work, but feels like a privilege. Only happens for me every few months, so it’s never onerous.
Get off your high horse britty

London can be fun. I've had to rent a car in Nebraska and drive for a couple of hours and still not found it. (Depends on where you are traveling to)
It used to be okay. It suvks since 2020! And where is all this WEATHER coming from! No global warming that's for sure lol
Loved it when I was young but i only want to do it once in a while now
It’s the ok if you’re doing it a few times a year. If you’re doing it every other week it’s a drag
I like it a few days a quarter when I need a break from the family ha.
I enjoy traveling 1-2 times/month. I enjoy getting to spend time in person with my team and my clients. More than that gets exhausting in a hurry.
Points, perks and status are part of the intangible benefits that come with the profession. Additionally, being closer to clients and teammates makes collaboration much easier and informal (at times) so for me, absolutely!
