Hey guys. I have been applying to Amex for the past 1 year. Tried applying on the portal, through referrals and even hr consultants reached me regarding the roles since I have a relevant profile. But not once have I been shortlisted or called for an interview. What could be the problem?
PS: I have gotten calls from every other company for the same profile but not amex. Can't be a problem with the profile. Seems something dicey which I'm not aware of.American Express

The interviewer said to give it a week and that she was gna give my info to hiring manager to review, but I thought she was the hiring manager since this was the 2 interview outside internal recruiter interview. i sent a thank you email the day after. I had a design director who made designs in keynote exclusively because he didn’t know Adobe so... you’d be surprised
I still list Quark Express and Freehand... It's like saying you know Sanskrit.
I stopped putting programs on my resume just recently because I’ve seen a trend to leave them off as you become more experienced. Not sure if it’s a good thing, I just like the way it looks sans program skills
At that level, I’d list it.
I would also list one or two “skills” you want to be doing more of. Why put down PowerPoint when you can pick up more Cinema3D experience. I wouldn’t be upset to hear you’re ambitious enough to be learning new, related capabilities in the interview.
I say yes because recruiters see your qualifications first. They might not realize that it’s a given like a design director would.
