Is anyone worried about layoffs?
Its around 2 months I have joined Nagarro.. I was mapped to different projects around 4-5 but the skill set was not fulfilling , so couldn't make it. I am still on bench..
Tech stack - Software Testing
Yoe-3
Position - Senior engineer
Any one from Nagarro can help?? What usually happens in these cases?
Whom shall I reach to in these concerns?
The layoffs must have pissed some people off.
Hello Everyone! Does anyone have a connection at Netflix ! I am an author/marketing associate and truly my dream job is to work on the team that creates/produces Drive to Survive. I am a huge F1 fan! However, I am willing to start where I can and work my way there! I was laid off due to Covid and just trying to get back into the field and industry I love.

No. You will get "counseled out."
http://employer.careerbuilder.com/jobposter/small-business/article.aspx?articleid=ATL_0085COUNSELINGOUT
You should also be using this time to look for other opportunities. Booz is a great company to be with...while you find a real job
Box Allen has no formal 'counseling out,' at least below senior associate. You're at risk of an LOW (lack of work letter), depending on your value to the team and their budget. LOWs often come out at the start of the new fiscal year (4/1). Have you networked like crazy? Do you know the senior associates that lead work you're interested in? Are you qualified to do that work (clearance, industry cert, etc)?
You should be wired like crazy going on 15-min coffee dates with anyone who will talk to you at this point.
Hi, I'm OP, nice to meet you, SA1/P1. I am interested in your practice for these reasons and I can demonstrate that with the following 2-3 resume bullet points. I am interested in your work doing xyz (related to resume bullets). Who do I contact to get involved?
The bench part is also really pyramid specific at Booz. Health easily holds onto you, DIG not so much. Are you using your Resource Manager? Mapping job openings across the open positions report?
Don't talk to SAs or Ps about getting on to projects. Talk to LAs or As who make decisions and Sr consultants that are going to be honest with you.
Is OP still at the firm after the end of the fy??
Tell me more D1

BA1 yes
Yep
**Booz. Lol.
@Booz Allen 1 yes I have networked like crazy, idk if I'm asking the right questions.
There's no magic recipe. You have to do that over and over, and each time you need to spell out for that P/SA why you are a good addition to their contracts. There is a chance you aren't a good addition to anyone's contract because the firm isn't winning new work, or someone assessed you skills poorly on hiring (we only have 1 major client, usg). That's the firm's fault and you should not take it personally, but if you want to stay, you will have to find work.
@Booz Allen 2 how should I utilize my resource manager?
@OP. My resource manager had a list of stuff that wasn't on the open positions. Was able to view how many people applied through Workday, and give insight on upcoming jobs. The RMs also do talent spotlights where they'll send your resume and highlights out to the group. Ultimately my work came through networking but the RM didn't hurt and got me talking to more folks for when this contract ends in Sept
What account are you on? Depending on the work you do we can chat if you have a burner.
OP: I'm pretty sure you're exempted from the LOW letter before your first project. I've never heard of anyone getting fired before starting their first project. How's the search going?
