Due to a mix of circumstance, hikes / job moves, i’ve 2x my salary over the last year.

Bought a 300k end unit townhouse in Atlanta, 14 months ago with 10% down (3.65% interest rate). Prices in subdivision have been increasing over that period. I’m seeing lots of posts about really bad losses. If you trade you’re going to lose money - hopefully not all the time, but many positions will be mistakes. But you need a process to find ideas and manage positions. Two books you should read are “The New Trading for a Livinng” and “The Laws of Trading.” Both look at psychology, process, and risk in different ways that can help you work out your own process. The next 18 months will be much harder than the last 18 - time to start learning.

Is getting into ARK funds at today’s price a no brainer or still risky? Currently in VOO/VTI and Vanguard mega cap MGC/MGK. I don’t want to fall under the belief of historical performance guaranteeing future performance, but ARK is so appealing

only buy VIX if you think the market plumbing systems are clogged.

Otherwise your sinuses will become increasingly VIX allocated over time.
