Hi, I'm leaving Citi in 2 months. It's hard to make this decision. I have an offer from a small startup. In citi, my previous experience was not considered and was reskilled to different tech which is the reason for change.I don't like to exit citi. As I like the company so much. But considering my current knowledge,I am in the middle of the sea.I am afraid now that the new company's offer would be revoked due to this recession?Or can I take back my resignation in citi before the last working day.Is this wise decision?

Be wary - there is massive title inflation at Slalom since their latest organizational updates (around a year ago). A manager at big 4 would be a “principal” at slalom now. Someone with 7 YOE would be a “senior principal.” My point is that they might be even offering you two titles lower, if the titles sound similar.
DL, unfortunately. Definitely a few SP at 9-10 YoE. Just trying to baseline that a 7 YoE is rare though, obviously depends on practice/market.
Slalom is not a pay master. They pay less and make it via better WLB and almost no travel(local projects). Promotions depend on the regular factors. The more money you bring in, faster you climb
Generally it is roping in new clients or getting new work at current clients

What's the city, group you're joining, YOE, and title you're being offered? That will help give you a range for pay
Also my WLB was worse at slalom than any of my other employers, and I had to work with some major turds. No “travel” but there were projects where I had to commute to clients 2 hours one way all week. Your experience will vary immensely by market.
