Can't go wrong with sql or python

Python

That’s what I was thinking! SQL + Python. Not sure if missing out on VBA or Java is something I’ll regret?

SQL first then Python or R not both. Stick to one and programming language and get good at it. After learn either tableau or power bi depending on your company.

Does anyone feel so dumb at work? I have been trying so hard but i still feel I don’t know a lot of things. I am so afraid of asking questions that are too easy for them. I have worked in tax for over 2 years. Not sure when I will be qualified for senior. Am I not suitable for this role or industry? I was one of the top students in my classes and I graduated from a very good school. I always feel hard to understand the trainings and technical stuff when they discuss as a non native speaker.

been in industry (small companies) for 5 years with an active CPA. Wanted to get in SEC reporting roles but almost every company requires 2-year public accounting exp. Now applying for public accounting firms entry level positions but almost all firms HR asked if I had ever worked in firms. Got rejection emails from firms all the time. Is this a dead lock? firms exp matters much more than a CPA license?

What’s your take on counteroffers? I recently was offered a role at a growing company (Recent IPO) with what looks like a bright future. The downside is it’s a lat move doing sim work with small increase to base but additional bonus and RSUs that won’t vest for 3 years. Main reason I was leaving current role was due to boredom and wanting a change. Recent restructuring at current place has opened opp’s and they countered with a promotion and 30% bump with all new responsibilities/path. Thoughts?

Have any of you moved countries for a better personal life? I'm Indian (living in India) and in my mid 20s. Evaluating a job offer close to home which I'm moderately excited about. The other option is to continue in my current role (which I hate) and try to move overseas (via another job or Masters). Taking the new job pushes this back by at least a few years. Not sure I want to move abroad anymore either tbh - it would only be to improve my chances of finding someone. Career wise, I'm ok here.

Hey guys I got an interview call for salesforce developer at pwc. How’s pwc for Salesforce @ / ncino also how much can I expect for a 2.5 years of experience currently at 9.4 ctc.

My manager asked me to ask less questions. Lately I am receiving negative feedback that I find unfair. I've a different perspective and this request doesn't go with my personality, my role and with the fact that I am working remote. I am very independent, but I need validation on final things I do as I am not a manager plus, I am a curious person who likes to interact and to learn more. For me questions are a way to improve and to find new perspectives. This makes me feel sad and not motivated

I started working in a agency two months ago, and I have two very big projects running simultaneously.

My Creative Director left for paternity leave, and left me with all the work, facing the client, going to shootings, editing. I've been working 15 days straight, no weekends. The agency hasn't given me any back up/someone I can team up with to do the job.

Is this normal? I'm used to have a partner, a copywriter or another creative working alongside. Keep in mind that I'm mid-level.
