I would say par for course for someone with 12 years experience with an MBA. The range is pretty wide in the manager and SM ranks at EY.
I had an offer last year from McKinsey for their ops practice. They bring you in as an associate which was 144k and bonus up to 30%. Deloittes offer would have been manager at approx 185k base and bonus up to 17-20% if I recall.
Well you are making more at Deloitte than you would at EY
160 - 2 years out of MBA, 1st year manager
First year SM at $170k
2 years out of MBA, just promoted to Manager. 147k. Tough
Non MBA managers in tier 2 location is 126k. How much is it for MBA managers?
Years total?
3
Before MBA?
At EY for sr manager, you would be at approx 185 but years exp are different
Post MBA. 2nd yr Manager.
Total years experience is 12 - only 3 consulting.
.
I am pretty sure you city also matters. Also did u come through experience hire process
At BCG the base pay is set by career step. Pretty much doesn't matter what your specific job and pay history is or which city you live in.
Strategy at ACN has moved to a model where every employee at the same level makes the same. Of course there are people who were paid higher before the new model came in (won't lower anyone's salary) but if you are underpaid and move up the salary jumps are huge. With that said your individual mgr base salary is higher than same level at Accenture. How about bonus?
Exactly what A2 said. I'd imagine 5% (generously) for 2nd year.
8 years total experience, 1.5 in consulting.
No MBA
SC, $132K
