I’m going through final interviews and want to see what your experience was like (negotiation process, initial offer higher/lower than expected?, did you give them a salary expectation range? How long did it take from final interview to offer etc) TIA!PwC EY KPMG Deloitte

AWS associate engagement manager salary?
Received an offer as Engagement Director from Salesforce (CSG, pre sales, L9). Great benefits package, 40% increase in total comp and better WLB.
I do love the people in my practice and current client, but career trajectory has stalled after taking parental leave earlier this year and (yet another) change in leadership.
Realistically, making to Director is 2-3 years away and will require sacrificing time with my family that I am not prepared to give up.

moving fast.... like this? https://dot.la/bird-layoffs-meeting-story-2645612465.html
Don't mean to bash the firm, but this was pretty poor execution.
I am not eligible for a referral bonus, just found the people I’m working with at Bird to be pretty great and would love to have someone great working for me.

Didn’t they fire a bunch of employees a few months ago?
“Strong demand” 🚩🚩🚩
Just saying what the numbers are showing. Given Covid, I think many who don’t own cars would rather be on a scooter alone than in a bus with people who may have Covid or even in an Uber with a random driver.
And the folks at Bird very much recognize that the layoffs were handled very poorly. I just joined, so I wasn’t personally around for it, but I appreciate the seemingly-genuine remorse for how it was handled.
I think I have a chip on my shoulder since I know someone who was impacted, but I am glad they are improving.
Know a guy they laid off and then later brought back on lol
Didn't they fire their entire biz ops team in March?
BizOps was considerably impacted but not completely eliminated. BizOps is also once again hiring (link below), but the role I’m hiring for is in operations at the market level (launching new markets and managing existing markets), with a significant amount of data analysis and strategy and opportunities to work on or lead cross-functional strategic projects that impact Bird across North America.

What’s changed since they laid people off?
Return of Birds to the streets (with strong demand), shift in business model, return to growth (existing markets and new ones), leaner organization. Any idea regarding the total comp for this role
It’s somewhat comparable to comp for pre-MBA consulting roles with an equity component. It’s not a management role (though you will be managing one maintenance person, at least initially) and for someone coming from consulting, someone with two years of experience out of undergrad would be about right.
