Has anyone here participated in the year long remote year program? My company is fully remote in the US and is in general supportive of me going but concerned about local and international tax liability. Remote year doesn’t share tax advice and our HR team is small. Curious to hear from people at companies who have done it before and if there were any issues from a tax or payroll perspective. Trying to get the formal approval from my company before officially signing up, advice welcome!

Seeing how 401k’s, ira’s etc..are mostly based in stocks. What happens if we have another Great Depression and the stock market crash’s. Even if you have Real estate investments, if ppl can’t pay rent like with Corona, that’s not really helpful. Have been hit w fraudulent charges in FL via Chipotle app; rec'd email that said sender knew my password (was partially correct) & was going to send nude pics of me to my contacts; rec'd email from Best Buy about my email being used to reset my pword (don't have BB acct) & today was notified of a declined transaction in Canada (I'm in TX). Besides changing pwords/ replacing cards what should I do?
