BOS->EWR is a full-on disaster. >2h delays >60% of the time. Is there a solution? Better luck with Jet Blue over United? If my client is in the middle of NJ, worth trying BOS->PHL?

Just take the train? Why are you hell-bent on flying? Security + gate time + tarmac time on both sides >= train time. And train is almost never late, more comfortable, easier to sleep or work on.

like

Yeesh, just take the Amtrak!

like

Tsk tsk tsk. Take the Acela business class. Can do work and don't have to deal with people as much

like

Drive or take the train. Or car service if your firm allows it.

Boston is the same distance to NYC as DC is and I always fly. Flying is definitely faster door to door if you aren’t delayed.

Well that’s the problem. If it’s only faster when one of the most delayed major airports in the world is operating perfectly, you’re going to be late and stressed regularly.

🚆 is the move. Its so much more comfortable too, you can usually even get the 'business class' car too

Train, my friend. Trains!

Hi everyone,

Could you please suggest best SAP MM online training provider who can provide me live project experience

I interviewed with a top big law firm last week for a Senior Project Manager role. I felt fairly good and confident post the interviews. Sadly I was not given the offer. I remember the Director mentioned that I was over qualified for the position. I’m currently a Consultant… I’m guess I’m not sure how to take the “over qualified” response. Prior to the interviews, I felt I needed more experience …. Lol. Anyone else felt the same?

Need Suggestion.

I am the only developer in my team and my manager has assigned me a project in which I need to create a tool from scratch although that is currently running in production build by third party and we don't have access to that code.

I am on notice period and I am 100% sure that project won't be completed before my LWD.

What should I do, I asked him to put some extra team members but he didn't agree, seems like he will add extra team members 2-3 weeks before my LWD.

Client recently offered me a job for an open req (industry eq SM). The work is flexible, the req is just to get me in the door but I decide what I want to work on (which I trust to be true). Much better culture, wlb, etc., but I’d be taking a 100k pay cut and be an IC with no team. Is it worth taking a step back in pay and responsibilities, or does it seem possible to get all in one?

Title on here is out of date but I’ve got over ten years agency experience as a digital producer, highest level being EP and then Executive Director. Feeing underpaid compared to what I hear about client side (current base 110k, 15% bonus + commission)

I’d love to shift to client side as EP or Program Manager and looking for advice on best way to get my foot in the door.

Feels like I’ve got the same experience as those in the roles but submitting an application thru sites is like shouting in

Misled on Maternity Leave Policy. I found out I only get 4 weeks pay for maternity leave (STD +“sick days”). I will take 12 weeks but wont get paid for 8 weeks. I work for a US, west coast based company in the tech/VC industry. Their website claims to offer “paid parental leave and other progressive benefits for parents”. I didn’t find out until after I was hired their pay was only 8 weeks but since I have been at the company less than 12 months, I don’t qualify for their policy. Is this unfair?

I have not been diagnosed with ADHD. I definitely fit some of the characteristics that go unnoticed in females. The good news is if i do have ADHD, it makes me quite good at my job as I’m very flexible and can provide positive energy to my patients. Anyway, my boss has told me I have ADHD multiple times. It seems rude when she says it, and she follows it up with “I say that because I love you” which i feel is so unprofessional all around. Anyone have guidance on how to handle this?
