I work here now but hoping to leave. Guidehouse acquired the company I worked for (Navigant) in October. Ever since many of my best colleagues have left. Culture seemed to disappear along with morale among the employees watching everyone exit. On the legacy guidehouse side (public sector jobs) it seems like people were upset they lost some of their best benefits in the acquisition. We are going through lots of growing pains still trying to merge everything together, including delays in promotion announcement. Seems like they are hiring aggressively though across all areas though. I am still trying to figure out why I should stay here and what Guidehouse can even offer me.
Used to work at Legacy Navigant. Left before the merger. Have heard from my former colleagues that culture has shifted due to the merger, but that’s expected. Many talented folks have also left. You have to consider that Guidehouse is PE backed, so they’re going to have to show value, but at some expense.
I started pre merger and accepted my offer over Huron primarily due to the culture. Immediately post-merger, there was a mass exodus and to this day, a lot of top talent (MC and below) are slowly trickling out. ADs and above appear to be staying put. The firm continues to hire and projects are still being signed & executed, so plenty of opportunities still exist. The WLB is decent as I see many people offline after hours and over the weekend (what does that say about me & my project then ... ugh)
Echoing the other comments, the legacy Navigant had a strong culture but you can feel it waning, especially with remote work over the last few months. I am personally looking to switch groups since I’m not interested in my vertical anymore. Felt like I would make the transition internally before moving to another company, though that’s not to say I’ve begun networking with other firms (not quite competitors, though).

Legacy Navigant RCM is a nice place to be. I'm decently happy. Lots of work and interesting. My colleagues are a mix. Some are incompetent, some are way better than me and teach me new stuff every day.
