I got a reply about my interview with Accenture after 6 months of interviewing. By then I had already joined another company and they called me up for negotiation. They really need to reconsider their hiring process and the accountability HR takes for following up with candidates.
They never update it and the process is a big mess..
When ever u deal with ACN, always go with referral,this is the efficient nd perfect channel..ur referral can track it nd take followups..they r bound to answer in this case..
Going through the other channels (applying in portal directly/through consultancy..etc) is a big NO for ACN..
sad to hear..Everyday ther is a call to address referral concerns..they do take immediate actions if urs is addressed..kindly ask ur referred person to follow up..
Accenture is worst with recruitment, my candidature is on hold for no reasons even if openings r there for same position just bcz their hr dont know what needs to be done.
My candidature has been on hold for the past 3 months. The reason? "There are currently no jobs tbat match your expected salary"
Thats pathetic..
Seriously, I think should consider ramping up their recruitment process and hiring policies. Its really listing them as a black mark on their hiring process.
I get to hear lot of bad experiences in terms of their hiring approach..

I have multiple friends working in Accenture, but not sure if you can get call by directly sharing your resume to recruitment team through your common friends working there..??

There's a lot of stress on employee referrals at Accenture. IMHO Easiest way would be to ask your friends to refer you on the employee referral portal. You can provide them the job Id details. From recent experience, I can say this is a pretty fast flowing process. Also, there are regular internal emails flowing about * bring your buddies to work* asking employees to share the resumes directly for in demand skills on a particular email . Your friends could refer you via either channels if there's a skill match.
I got a call from Accenture for support engineer position, I had recently joined a company as a consultant (freelance) I told them the same when the recruiter heard freelancer she was like we don't take freelancers and I was astonished at that fact.
